Join us on Tuesday, October 28, at the Meridian South Campus for a one-night class that celebrates the vibrant traditions, flavors, and meaning behind Día de los Muertos — the Day of the Dead.
While often mistaken for Halloween, Día de los Muertos isn’t spooky at all. It’s a joyful celebration of life and remembrance, honoring loved ones who have passed with food, color, music, and community. Rooted in ancient Aztec traditions and later blended with Catholic influences, this Mexican holiday beautifully reflects the belief that our departed loved ones remain part of our lives and memories.
In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to prepare and enjoy authentic dishes like pozole and other traditional treats that are central to the celebration. The room will be bright and festive, and you will learn about ofrendas! Come ready to cook, taste, and connect as we explore the rich culture and symbolism behind every ingredient.
Spaces are limited — sign up today and experience a night filled with flavor, learning, and heartfelt tradition!
